Cala s’Amonia, if you don’t know it exists you’ll never find it. It’s on the south-east side of Mallorca and hidden behind the many trees, mountains and rocks. You’ll reach Cala s’Almonia by following a small and rocky stairs wich is shown below. So make sure you’ll find it:)
Once you’ve walked all the way down the stairs, you’ll find a cute little place with a couple houses and a lot of abandoned boats. I don’t know why they were there but it looked cute and nice with all of their colors. The sea is bright blue and you can climb the rocks and have a stunning view. This isn’t a place for tanning, but it is perfect for some activity and exploring the island. It’s quite mesmirizing even if it wasn’t super warm that day.
On the other side of the bay you can see the little houses with their boats instead of cars on their driveway. I wouldn’t feel very save in those little boats but that probably comes because i can’t swim very good. Well, let’s be honest : not at all. Speaking of the water, it isn’t that cold. Ofcourse i’m comparing it to The Netherlands but the mallorquin people call this winter. 20 degrees isn’t winter for me!:)
If you walk further you’ll have to climb and watch your steps but the views are stunning! View the pics of Cala s’Almonia below. Please let me know what you think of Cala s’Almonia and the blogs and photos! Comments are very welcome.
